What is a global hot key?

A global hot key is a key combination that the user can press to perform an action quickly. It can be called anywhere.

Generally, a global hot key consists of one or two modifier keys (such as Ctrl, Alt, Shift or Win) and an accompanying key (such as a character key, an arrow key, a function key, and so on). It is allowed but not recommended not to comprise a modifier key.

How to disable a global hot key?

You can simply uncheck it, or press Back Space in corresponding hot key edit box.

How to change a global hot key?

For example, to change the global hot key of "Select Flow mode" to Ctrl+Shift+F, you can press Ctrl, Shift and F at the same time in its edit box.

Please don't assign any common shortcut key, such as Ctrl+C, to a global hot key, because that may cause unexpected conflicts.

Notes:

  • Some pre-defined global hot keys cannot be changed.
